We’re officially in our last month of summer – Hello August! We here at Captiv8 want to help out parents with some summer DIY ideas that can help their kids get ready for the upcoming Back To School Season. Jennifer Zhang better known by her nickname JENerationDIY, is a YouTuber who creates DIY, beauty, fashion, and food videos. She created her YouTube channel in 2013 and has since jumped up to 1.46 million followers and shows no signs of slowing down anytime soon. She recently released a series of videos that make for great Back To School DIY ideas, as well as school haul videos; check out this must-watch channel for inspiration as you and your child head Back To School!
Sasha Morga is a 14 year old YouTuber who uploaded her first video in September 2013 and has taken YouTube by storm. Her videos include a variety of DIY, beauty, fashion content, and she also takes on entertaining challenges. She has recently released a mix of Summer and Back To School DIY videos as Summer comes to an end and students get ready for school.
Becky Wright and Kelsey MacDermaid started their DIY journey together in 2010 when they met at Humber College and dubbed themselves “The Sorry Girls”, the name for their highly popular YouTube channel. The name is a play on words, alluding to the stereotype how Canadians always say sorry. They have a plethora of different DIY videos, from back to school ideas, to challenges, to finding the best Back To School clothing.
Sarah Betts is a 19 year old from the land down under. She originally created her YouTube channel in 2014 and now has over 773k followers. Sarah creates a variety of different DIY videos ranging from room DIYs to different summer hacks. Her channel is definitely worth checking out if you are looking for cool Summer DIY’s or if you need tips on creating the most unique school supplies!
