Captiv8 Partners with West Virginia University Athletics and VEEPIO to Expand Collegiate NIL Opportunities

This latest partnership will kick-off with a webinar on October 21 on how collegiate athletes can help brands win at influencer marketing.

SAN FRANCISCO, OCTOBER 18, 2021 – Today, leading influencer marketing company, Captiv8, announces that it is joining forces with West Virginia University Department of Intercollegiate Athletics and VEEPIO Holdings, LLC to help to educate and empower WVU’s roster of student-athletes amid this new NIL era through the company’s influencer marketing services and technology.  

This latest partnership will kick-off with a webinar on October 21 where attendees will learn first-hand why working alongside collegiate athletes can help brands unlock new audiences, drive strong brand loyalty amongst their following, and what the NIL legislation means for the future of influencer marketing. Current speakers include Emeka Ofodile, VP of Sports Marketing for ESPN, Jersey Wolfenbarger, University of Arkansas women’s basketball, Jasmine Carson, WVU women’s basketball, Alina Stahl, WVU women’s soccer, alongside panelists from VEEPIO, Captiv8 and In Common Communications.

Captiv8 will also be teaming up with VEEPIO, a content optimization tool for NFL and NFL Alumni mobile apps, and established partner of WVU helping to create, facilitate and oversee NIL sponsorship opportunities for its more than 450 student-athletes.

In addition to West Virginia University, Captiv8 also works with University of Arkansas athletes, who were the first to go through Captiv8 Collegiate programming and will soon be hosting a virtual education session for the student athletes at University of South Carolina Upstate.
